Information / School Council
Being at school is not just about studying for exams, it is also about finding out what you can do either in work or further education. This is a school where we think deeply about these things.
Swadelands School Council is run by the students, for the students. Different representatives from each year group ensure that the students’ voices are heard. The council meets at least once every half-term to discuss new goals and ideas, and plans how to achieve these goals.
With each member appointed to a different role we all work as a great team. Students in the school can always approach us with ideas or problems to be put across in the next meeting. I think the School Council is a great idea and gives the students freedom of speech which is important.
